Title: Actions for Implementation Program of Image Quality of Mammography

Abstract: Globally were established many quality programs that have proven effective in early detection of the breast cancer. In Brazil was instituted, by the Department of Health, the ordinance 531/2012 that establish the basic guidelines for the implementation of the National Program for Quality in Mammography (PNQM) to ensure the quality of digital mammography exams. But in November 2013 it was up-dated by the ordinance no 2898 added which the role of public and private agencies to fulfillment this ordinance, not adding any technique process. This work has the aims to implement the ordinance 531/2012 with a principal focus on training and periodic retraining of health professionals. As methodology was proposed a set of actions for hospitals and clinics regularize the conditions imposed by the law, always seeking quality mammographic images. The result was the creation of seminars and specific courses for radiologists and radiology technician, with the aim to resolve such failures always prioritizing the quality in the image digital mammography. Other tender, for comply the ordinance, is the establish a committee that will go assess the insertion of PNQM, regularly sending reports to health authorities regarding the implementation of the program and regiment and still taking providences in case of non-compliance with the quality criteria.
