O Laboratório de Transplante e Cirurgia do Fígado é ligado ao Departamento de Gastroenterologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP).

Linhas de pesquisa: rejeição hiperaguda, indução de tolerância imunológica, isquemia, reperfusão em transplante de fígado, pâncreas e ilhotas pancreáticas; intestino, multivisceral e reto anal; regeneração hepática e reperfusão hepática e pancreática; insuficiência hepática aguda; fisiopatologia da pancreatite aguda; biologia molecular de tumores do fígado e pâncreas; câncer hepático experimental; choque hemorrágico experimental; microcirurgia vascular; aspectos hemodinâmicos da hipertensão portal.
